"Patient 004's" Wax Zip-up
Patient 004’s Wax ’zip-up hoodie’ is constructed from 100% cotton terry, has undergone a garment wash across the whole piece, and is finished with a hand waxing treatment on the seams. the hoodie features a back corset lace, asymmetrical zipper, and side chest pocket for variety. hand placed waxed coating can be found running up on the seams, and distressing details scale the whole garment. The hoodie is cut with longer extended sleeves and a large extended hood.

- 100% French terry cotton with wax-coated seams.
- Hand wash cold, or machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F max) on a gentle cycle.
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Wash alone, or with dark colors only. The wax can transfer onto lighter fabrics in the same load.
- Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent.
- Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener — it coats the fibers and dulls the wax.
- Do not soak, scrub, or wring. Press water out gently instead.
- Air dry flat or hang. Do not tumble dry. Keep out of direct sun and off radiators.
- Iron low heat, inside out, using a pressing cloth. Never iron the waxed seams directly.
ABOUT THE WAX
The seams are wax-coated by hand. Washing, heat, and detergent will change that coating — it can dull, soften, fade, crack, or shift. That change is expected and part of how the piece wears in. It isn't a defect.
For the longest hold on the coating, spot clean when you can and wash as little as you need to. Cold water keeps the garment true to its finished measurements; heat is what shortens it.
